House District 35 is a great place to live, work and play in a culturally and economically diverse area. It is ideally located between Denver and Boulder, bisected by the Highway 36 corridor. It can also be accessed by both I25 and US 76 in the south of the district. Bounded on the west by Sheridan Boulevard and on the south by 52nd Ave, its northern and eastern borders are less easy to define as they begin at 104th Ave. from Sheridan to Lowell Blvd. and stairsteps to the south and east past I-25 to York St.
House District 35 is made up of two municipalities; Westminster predominantly and a very small section of Arvada, as well as a large space of unincorporated Adams County. Within its borders are two school districts - Adams County District 50 mostly and one school that is part of Adams County District 1.
House District 35 is home to many small businesses and larger industries found mostly in the central and southern areas, while shopping can be found throughout the HD35 landspaces. It is also served by both the Westminster Parks, Libraries and Recreation Board as well as the Hyland Hills Special Recreation District. HD35 is protected by the Westminster Police and Fire Departments, the Adams County Sheriff's Department and Adams County Fire Protection.
